IN FLAT RATE BOXES
The United States
Postal Service now offers two Flat Rate Priority shipping boxes. These
boxes can only be used for United States domestic shipping and cost $8.95.
If you are only ordering heavy little
cubes, these boxes can save you heaps on shipping expense and get them to
you within 3 days! We can ship between 5 and 20 cubes in these boxes to
save you money. The boxes are different shapes: 12" x 3 1/2" x 14" and 11"
x 8.5"x 5 1/2". If you are ordering more than 12 cubes, there is very
little room for much else to fit in these boxes other than a few small items.
The savings is notable over parcel post rates: >> 8 cubes / 5.75lbs / $2.35savings,
>>12 cubes / 8.65lbs / $6.05savings,
>>16 cubes / 11.52lbs / $8.35 savings.
Glass pieces also are significant in weight. We use these boxes,
whenever possible, to reduce shipping amounts. Since our shopping cart tables are built on the weight of your order, we are
unable to offer the Flat Rate box as a check out feature, since we don't
know if your entire order will fit in a flat rate box. We always want
to save you money if possible: our first option will always be fit your
entire order into a flat rate box, our next option would be to fit as
much of your order into a flat rate box as we can and place the balance in
a smaller package or even use multiple flat rate boxes for large cube
orders (if that can reduce postage expense) and lastly we'd use a large box
to contain the entire order. Which ever way we package your order,
you will never be charged more than your invoice amount!
Any postage savings from utilizing the flat rate boxes
will be manually reduced from your order total before processing your credit card
and noted of on your receipt. If you prefer to
pay by check or money order please place your order via the website and
then e-mail us or call us at our toll free number so we can advise you of
your adjusted order total assuming a flat rate box can be used.
