These FDA approved, food safe bags, are great for packaging not only food items but your hand-stamped gifts as well. What is the basic difference between cello and poly bags? Cellophane feels a bit more crisp, more like a light weight paper. The bottom seam of the bag is flush to the bag and doesn't flap down. Polypropylene has a more draping, plastic feel. The poly bag, in the 1.2 mil thickness has the lovely clarity of cellophane. You can see very clearly through it. So, it just comes down to your preference in packaging or the dimensions of the gift. Some of the bags are quite long, which allows them to be cut to size with a paper cutter. The largest poly bag can easily hold a medium sized stuffed animal. We carry a variety of sizes to suit your packaging needs. Please note both the cello and poly types are sold below in the flat and gusset styles. These products are sold in quantities of five bags to a package.
