1.  Materials:
*Half of 8 1/2" x 11" cardstock, cut lengthwise
*Two 2 1/2" x 2 3/4" pieces of coordinating cardstock
*One seed packet
*A small piece of double-sided adhesive AND a glue stick
*scoring tool, see also Quick Score.

2.  From what will be the top portion of the card, score
2 1/2" down from the top edge. From the bottom,
create a score line at 3 1/8" up from the edge.

3.  The two small pieces of cardstock are layered (glued) to
create a heavier, stronger latch to keep the card closed.
We used a deco scissor to make the white layer smaller
and sponged the edges to make it stand out from the
      yellow underlayer.

4.  Stamp the card front and smaller latch, as desired.  In this
example, the card front is facing down on the fabric .

5.  When gluing the latch onto the main card, fold the card
to its finished size. The top flap will slightly overlap the
bottom. Place glue on the lower third of the latch.
Center the latch and press it into place onto the lower
flap of the card. If you glue the latch too far up, the top
flap of the card can't be placed under the latch for closure.

6.  Use a small piece of double-sided adhesive to adhere
     the seed packet as shown.

7.  This card allows for a  personal greeting both above
     and below the seed packet.

8.  Optional: Place small decorative stickers over the price
mark on the packet.  The price is generally printed
prominently and takes away from the impact of seeing the
little gift when the card is opened.
